Position Summary:
The Environmental Services (EVS) Technician assists to help fight the spread of infection, this position assists in maintaining a neat, sanitary, and pleasing physical environment by performing a variety of cleaning, disposal and resupplying duties. This role disinfects healthcare equipment and facilities.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Position requires self-motivation, flexibility, attention to detail, strong communication skillset, and ability to work independently while also contributing to the team. Strong customer service attributes. Ability to show empathy and compassion to our patients/residents. Communicates with customers and coworkers in a prompt, friendly and professional manner. Windows-based computer knowledge; ability to navigate through email system and work orders. Ability to meet the physical job requirements of this role.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation decisions are made based off of several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification and licensure as well as internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of their hourly range.
Hourly Range:
