Environmental Protection Specialist

Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Environmental Protection Specialist to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring environmental compliance, optimizing wastewater treatment processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting sustainable operations, and improving the efficiency of environmental protection systems. Essential Responsibilities Develop and implement production-line environmental work plans and objectives aligned with the Environmental Protection Division's annual priorities and budget goals. Conduct routine environmental compliance inspections throughout the assigned production areas. Identify environmental risks, monitor corrective actions, and document findings through inspection reports and work logs in accordance with company policies, procedures, and environmental management standards. Inspect and monitor the operation of environmental protection equipment and systems to ensure reliable performance and regulatory compliance. Prepare inspection reports and recommend corrective actions when necessary. Review wastewater treatment process parameters and equipment operating conditions to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction. Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance environmental performance while reducing operational costs. Maintain accurate environmental records and documentation. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards. Qualifications Required Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment. Fluency in English is required. Preferred Experience in industrial environmental compliance, wastewater treatment, or environmental operations management. Knowledge of environmental regulations applicable to manufacturing operations. Fluency in Chinese is preferred .
