Spartan Specialty Services, Inc. is seeking eager applicants for our Environmental Specialist position in New Castle, PA. Applicants should be a hardworking, responsible, and self driven. The candidate will work alongside our Environmental team with various tasks in the field and at our facility sites. This position will report to the New Castle, PA office and may work there all day or may have to travel to remote jobsites with company vehicles to perform daily tasks. The Environmental Specialist job duties include but are not limited to: -conduct various recordkeeping tasks, assist with waste disposal documentation, manifesting, conduct various on-site environmental inspections, assisting and ensuring facilities stay within various environmental regulations, vehicle and warehouse maintenance, operate various vehicles/equipment including small and medium size box trucks, load and transport various materials such as waste drums, and communicate with customers and peers to ensure jobs get completed with satisfaction. You will gain experience around many different types of industry and workplace settings, while learning valuable regulations, skills, and knowledge that are applicable to all industries.
