Terracon Consultants, Inc. seeks Senior Staff Scientist in Lewisville, TX Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management. Maintain quality standards on all projects. Conduct site testing and make recommendations for systems design on medium sized projects with a variety of complexity. Participate with more senior scientists/engineers on large, more complex projects. Perform site visits, field observations and field data collection or assignments. Implement technical requirements to complete client projects by directing and supervising field staff to sample, test and collect data and/or document site activities. Develop written proposals to clients for both small and large projects including quality control review of proposals written by others. Evaluate complex laboratory and field data and assemble written reports. Serve as a team member or lead in meetings and communications with clients pertaining to specific projects/tasks. Requires a Bachelors degree in Project Management, Marine Resources Management, or a related field, plus 5 years of related experience. Required experience must include any amount of experience with all of the following: Managing projects including writing proposals, preparing scope and budgets, staffing, subcontractors, and safety
