Job Summary:

Environmental Tech II is responsible for the basic disinfecting and cleaning of the facility and hospital owned clinics. This position is also responsible for removal of a regular wasted and medical waste alone with boxes and the disposal of equipment and furniture.

Environmental Technician II Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Must have a valid Drivers License with reliable transportationAt least 1 year of cleaning experience in a hospital setting preferredPrevious experience in a healthcare facility or commercial cleaning role preferred.

Knowledge of hospital infection control procedures preferred.

Must be able to follow all rules and policies within the organization and department.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team .Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Effective communication skills.
