Job Description

Back Environmental Remediation Technician
  • 24884 Environmental Engineer Contract 11715 Oct 15, 2026 Eunice , New Mexico We are seeking an Environmental Remediation Technician for assignment in Eunice, New Mexico.
The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks in the operations and maintenance of water / wastewater / remediation treatment plants, including maintenance of equipment, quality control/testing and other day-to-day activities on an assigned shift. Hours are Monday
  • Friday, 8:00am
  • 4:30pm
  • This position will require up to 50% travel, within the region, during work hours
  • This position will require a TWIC Card and 40-Hour
HAZWOPER
after hire
  • This position will provide a vehicle for on-site and off-site business travel
  • Responsibilities
  • Schedules work tasks for the client locations
  • Operates treatment facilities
  • Monitors gauges, meters and control panels
  • Perform routine inspections
  • Observes variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gauge readings
  • Operates valves and gates either manually or by remote control
  • Starts and stops pump, engines, generators and various equipment
  • Collects samples and performs routine laboratory tests and analyses
  • Performs routine maintenance functions and custodial duties
  • Makes operating decisions in absence of supervisory personnel Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A valid Drivers License
  • 7+ years experience working in either industrial, environmental, oil and gas, utility, water treatment, maintenance or field service environments
  • Hands on experience with pumps, motors, valves, piping and plumbing systems
  • 18 years of age or older
  • US Citizen
  • A TWIC Card and 40-Hour
