Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Infection Prevention to support infection prevention and control programs within a healthcare facility. The RN will monitor infection trends, implement prevention strategies, educate staff, and ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and facility policies.

Responsibilities Duties:

Monitor and investigate healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). Conduct infection surveillance and maintain accurate infection-control data. Identify infection risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Develop and implement infection prevention and control measures. Educate healthcare staff on infection prevention practices and protocols. Monitor compliance with hand hygiene, PPE, isolation precautions, and other infection-control standards. Assist with outbreak investigations and response activities. Participate in infection prevention committees and quality-improvement initiatives. Prepare reports and communicate infection trends to leadership and clinical teams. Collaborate with nursing, medical staff, laboratory, environmental services, and other departments. Ensure compliance with CDC, OSHA, CMS, and other applicable infection-control requirements. Assist with developing and updating infection prevention policies and procedures.

Experience Years of Experience:

1 year recent experience

• ACUTE CARE EXP IS REQUIRED

• Infection Prevention experience required
• This role does not need to be an RN, degree in Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology, or related health science field.
• Will consider House Supervisor but must have Infection Prevention experience.
