Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator/Infection Preventionist to join our healthcare team. This dual-role position combines the critical responsibilities of managing staffing processes with the vital task of infection prevention and control. The ideal candidate will be energized by building strong relationships, ensuring compliance with health standards, and supporting a safe, efficient work environment. You will play a key role in sourcing top talent, coordinating staffing needs, and implementing infection prevention protocols to uphold the highest standards of patient and staff safety. Duties Lead full cycle recruiting efforts, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding for various healthcare roles using talent management software. Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans utilizing social media marketing (recruitment), external recruiting channels, and campus recruitment initiatives to attract qualified candidates. Manage high volume recruitment activities efficiently while maintaining compliance with employment law in talent management and HR legal standards. Coordinate employee orientation sessions, employee evaluations, and ongoing training & development programs to foster professional growth. Oversee infection prevention protocols by conducting routine audits, monitoring compliance with infection control policies, and collaborating with clinical teams to implement best practices. Maintain accurate records of staffing schedules, employee relations issues, contracts, and employee evaluations within HR systems like Kronos or UltiPro. Foster strong relationship management with internal departments, external agencies, and community partners to support staffing needs and infection control initiatives. Acts as primary instructor for Certified Nursing Aide class Qualifications Proven experience in recruiting or talent acquisition within a healthcare or fast-paced environment, including experience with high volume or technical recruiting. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law in talent management and HR legal compliance standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport across diverse teams. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of infection prevention principles, CDC guidelines, and healthcare safety protocols is preferred but not required; relevant certifications are a plus. Ability to research industry best practices and implement innovative solutions for staffing and infection control challenges.
