Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert infection prevention oversight and guidance across the facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Collaborate with clinical staff and management to develop, implement, and evaluate infection control policies and procedures. Conduct regular infection prevention assessments, audits, and staff education sessions to maintain high standards of safety. Monitor and investigate infection incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate future risks. Assist in managing facility compliance documentation and participate in infection prevention training programs.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license Infection Prevention certification (e.g., CIC) BLS certification ACLS certification Minimum 3 years of recent infection prevention experience Ability to assist on the floor when needed Strong LTC and acute care background Professional demeanor Team-oriented mindset Adherence to facility protocols Ability to work independently Flexibility with start times
