GHR Healthcare is seeking an Infection Preventionist for a hospital setting in Bucks County, PA!

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 40 hours/week, 7:30am to 4pm Primarily on-site with potential hybrid flexibility based on departmental needs. 13-Week Contract with potential extension and/or conversion to permanent employment

Local Pay:

$60/hour

Travel Pay Estimate:

$2,467/week

Responsibilities:

Conduct daily infection surveillance and identify hospital-acquired infections (HAIs). Review patient records utilizing NHSN definitions and infection prevention criteria. Monitor assigned units including Emergency Department and acute care/medical-surgical areas. Analyze infection prevention data and prepare reports for Infection Prevention Committee meetings. Investigate potential hospital-acquired infections and identify infection trends. Collaborate with leadership and team members on outbreak identification and response activities. Provide education and consultation to nursing and clinical staff regarding infection prevention practices and device-related infections. Communicate effectively with frontline staff, unit leaders, and interdisciplinary teams. Present findings and infection surveillance outcomes to committees and stakeholders. Utilize Epic and infection surveillance software to support infection prevention activities

Job Requirements:

RN, BSN or Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Healthcare or Public Health Discipline Minimum (2) years of Infection Prevention experience Experience reviewing charts and determining whether infections meet NHSN criteria Experience working in healthcare settings with infection prevention responsibilities If interested apply today or contact Kate for more details at 484-567-0749 for more details! #allied2misc
