GS-13: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience evaluating alternatives, developing and implementing solutions, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on results. Experience interacting with nationally known scientists to gather data and information in support of command objectives. Experience executing acoustic data processing and analyzing acoustic data management in standard deep water and non-standard shallow water acoustic environments. Experience creating detailed graphics in
ARC-GIS OR ACR-GIS
Pro and manipulating complex codes in

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience resolving acoustic numerical modeling problems and validating ambient noise, transmission loss, and reverberation measurements. Experience implementing unique and special purpose data sets that support non-standard shallow water acoustic and geophysical modeling objectives. Experience utilizing oceanographic fieldwork, the deployment and recovery of instrument systems, and the at sea analysis of data. Experience interpreting geophysical and acoustic data and the implementation of data sets that support shallow and deep-water modeling.
