Salaried with benefits Overview Growing CDMO is seeking a skilled Senior Microbiologist to join their team in Boca Raton, FL! Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental and water system monitoring
- Perform sterility, BET, and microbial identification testing
- Support contamination investigations and method validation
- Assist with sterility assurance
- Disinfectant co-validations/qualifications Requirements
- BS in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Pharmacy or related life sciences
- 5+ years of recent sterile injectable manufacturing experience (bioquell isolators, environmental monitoring, sterility testing)
- 8-10 years pharmaceutical experience (oral solid dosage experience earlier in career acceptable)
- Ability to perform independent technical responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Hands-on knowledge of BET (Bacterial Endotoxin Testing), sterility testing, method suitability, sample size requirements, and the use of specific media such as FTM.
- Must understand the difference between diluents and media, which is an important aspect of the role.
