This role requires strong physical intuition in plasma physics and numerical modeling expertise. Key Responsibilities Create plasma models using electrostatic and/or electromagnetic PIC codes for customers. Understand concepts such grid convergence and time-step stability for ensuring numerically accurate results. Use our software to post-process large datasets and extract key physical quantities. Document modeling assumptions, parameter studies, and physical conclusions in technical reports. Collaborate with team to meet goals on time. Required Qualifications M.S. or Ph.D. in Physics, Plasma Physics, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Background in plasma theory, especially low temperature plasmas in a laboratory environment. Hands-on experience simulating plasmas. Strong data analysis and visualization skills.

Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with:

Plasma chemistry Plasma-material interactions PIC methods Hybrid PIC-fluid approaches Experience performing verification & validation (V&V) studies.
