As a Physics Engineer, you will report to the team Tech Lead and work with our talented team to improve the realism and scalability of physics systems across world-renowned franchises. You will collaborate with us to deliver immersive gameplay experiences for millions of players, supporting our commitment to creativity, inclusivity, and positive play. You will report into a Technical Lead. Responsibilities You will improve physics system scalability to support multiple platforms, including PC, console, and mobile. You will diagnose CPU bottlenecks and profile memory to ensure physics calculations run smoothly at 60+ FPS for seamless gameplay. You will tunecollision detection, ragdoll physics, and rigid body dynamics so objects and characters behave realistically in our games. You will use profiling tools to analyze and fix physics glitches, collaborating with animators and game designers to enhance gameplay. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. 2+ years of experience developing real-time physics systems for games or interactive applications. Experience with C++ and physics engines such asChaos,Havok, PhysX, Bullet, or proprietary solutions. Experience diagnosing performance issues and improving physics calculations for games running at 60+ FPS. Strong skills in performance and memory profiling and trace analysis using PIX or similar tools. Frostbite knowledge is a plus Experience shipping games on multiple platforms is a plus
