• Open to all employee types including Temporary Staff and Student Employees. The Neural Injury Center invites applications for a Research Analyst to support ongoing projects within the Neural Injury Center, with primary emphasis on the Remote Vestibular initiative.

• Collect, enter, manage, and analyze research data in accordance with established protocols, maintaining accurate study records and documentation Support laboratory and clinical research activities, including preparation of study materials, participant coordination, and adherence to IRB-approved procedures Conduct literature reviews, synthesize findings, and contribute to research reports and scholarly publications Maintain confidentiality and data security when handling sensitive participant and research information Collaborate with faculty, graduate students, and staff on interdisciplinary research activities, participating in project meetings and providing regular updates to the supervisor Perform moderately complex research and administrative tasks with increasing independence, applying critical thinking, sound judgment, discretion, and initiative while managing workload and seeking guidance as appropriate Bachelor's degree in neuroscience, physiology, psychology, rehabilitation sciences, or a closely related field Foundational knowledge of research methods in physiology, neuroscience, rehabilitation, or related health sciences to support data collection, data management, and basic analysis Understanding of human subject research requirements, including confidentiality, ethical conduct, informed consent, and IRB compliance Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities Proficiency with standard office and data tools, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with the ability to learn specialized research software and equipment Strong analytical, critical thinking, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, resolve routine problems, exercise sound judgment, and seek guidance when appropriate Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or PHD in neuroscience, physiology, psychology, rehabilitation sciences, or a closely related field Prior experience in a research or clinical laboratory environment, with familiarity in human subject research protocols, IRB processes, and compliance requirements Experience with research data collection, management, and basic analysis in health or behavioral sciences, including proficiency with statistical analysis software and research data platforms Strong technical writing skills for contributing to research reports, manuscripts, and grant documentation, with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary research teams Interest in neurosensory dysfunction, vestibular assessment, or neural injury research

Work Schedule:

Full-time, 0.75 FTE (30 Hours a week), flexible days, 12 months/year

Probationary Period:

Six (6) months minimum
