JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Central Pennsylvania Research and Teaching Laboratory for Biofuels (CPRTLB) is looking to hire part-time research assistants to assist with metabolic engineering of industrial hemp. Job Duties Preparation of tissue culture media, growth hormones and culture of explants under sterile conditions . Assist with DNA, RNA and Protein isolation. Routine upkeep of the laboratory and Greehouse. Collect, analyze data and involve in publishing papers as co- authors. Assist with working on cancer cell lines and engineering cannabinoid pathway genes in E.Coli. Assist PI and Director of the laboratory with other duties as assigned.
