We are seeking a Title Research Analyst - Texas Minerals with experience researching Texas real property, mineral ownership, probate, heirship, and recorded documents. This is a research and analytical position , not a traditional full-scope landman role. Review deeds, mineral deeds, royalty deeds, assignments, probate records, wills, affidavits of heirship, judgments, liens, and other recorded documents. Trace mineral ownership through multiple generations, conveyances, and ownership changes. Identify deceased mineral owners and research heirs, estates, probate proceedings, and potential successors in interest. Review legal descriptions, acreage, surveys, and property records to help determine the mineral interest associated with a tract. Research prior owners and conveyances to determine how an interest moved from one party to another. Organize research findings and provide clear notes and supporting documentation to the landman and acquisitions team. Assist with ownership verification before mineral purchase offers are prepared. Work with the landman on more complicated title issues requiring additional research or curative work.
