We have an exciting opportunity for a Chesapeake Farms Internship at our Chesapeake Farms, MD location. Chesapeake Farms has an exciting internship opportunity in Chestertown, MD, for students seeking hands-on experience in agriculture, conservation, property management, and farm operations. Working alongside experienced professionals, interns will support projects that enhance farm operations, facilities, wildlife habitat, and visitor experiences while gaining valuable real-world skills and career development opportunities. What You'll Do
  • Assist with farming operations, field activities, and seasonal agricultural projects.
  • Support demonstration plots, research activities, educational events, and field days.
  • Participate in wildlife habitat management and conservation initiatives.
  • Operate and maintain farm and grounds maintenance equipment under supervision.
  • Support stewardship practices that enhance productivity, sustainability, and environmental conservation.
  • Work on farm operations
What Skills You Need:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or MBA/master's degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
