Job Description

About the Role The Water Resources department is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Water Resources Intern to participate in our 2027 summer internship program. This position will be in our Philadelphia, PA office. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, oversee high-profile projects, contribute to the team's growth and development, support GSI projects and climate resiliency and adaptation project planning and design.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, designing, and developing water resources projects with a focus on green stormwater management. Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents for GSI projects. Conduct site assessments, stormwater BMP inspections, and field data collection. Support the permitting process by preparing reports and documentation compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.

An accredited STEM bachelor s degree program or STEM graduate program Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously Initiative and ability to take on new projects and other challenges regularly Dependability and an eagerness to take ownership of tasks Compensation Compensation to be commiserate with experience.
