Job Description

We are seeking a Policy Specialist to join our dynamic Kansas team. What You'll Do:
As a Policy Specialist, you will be responsible for issuing policy documents (policy, endorsements, certificates, and invoices) per Underwriter instructions.
Key responsibilities include:
Interpret underwriter instructions to issue policy documents Update data in Global Aerospace system to issue policy documents including manuscript documents and amended wordings Issue documents in priority of urgency and Global Aerospace standards and be able to adjust priorities Copy and prepare policy documents for filing Utilize telephone and Microsoft Outlook to communicate questions / answers and transmit policy documents to underwriters and brokers Calculate endorsement premiums for manual policies using underwriter's instructions
Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associate's Degree Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PDF software, web browsers Ability to interpret instructions and ask questions to achieve resolution of queries and discrepancies Must possess excellent proofreading skills Must demonstrate effective listening, customer service, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills Must demonstrate strong time management, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a high-volume work environment with changing priorities and ability to calmly handle multiple re-issuance of documents due to changes in situations
Pay Range Anticipated Pay Range For This Role Is:
$50,000 - $60,000 This pay range represents the base annual full-time salary for this position. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to relevant experience, education, geography and skill set. All full time positions are eligible to participate in Global's profit-sharing plan program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
