Qualifications and Skills:

Masters Degree in School Counseling is required Strong foundation in counseling techniques, classroom management, and leadership Experienced in working with individuals, small groups, and classroom settings Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing Skilled in organization, time management, and proactive problem solving Able to analyze current counseling processes and recommend improvements Team player with a passion for supporting students academic, social, and emotional needs

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct counseling services to students, tailoring support to individual, group, or classroom needs Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, parents, and community partners to maximize student success Facilitate workshops and group sessions addressing social and emotional development, academic guidance, and conflict resolution Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and ensure all counseling activities are compliant with school policies and guidelines Continuously assess and enhance counseling strategies, identifying opportunities for greater student support Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute positively to a collaborative school community
