Responsibilities Provide in-class and small group academic support to students Offer one-on-one tutoring and mentoring focused on student growth Support students' social-emotional development and positive behavior Collaborate with teachers to implement data-informed interventions Assist with planning and leading after-school and enrichment programs Help coordinate and participate in school-wide events and initiatives Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance for reporting Engage families and school staff to support student success Participate in regular training, coaching, and leadership development Model City Year's values of service, inclusion, and social justice Required Skills Tutoring and academic support Classroom support techniques Youth mentoring Behavior management and de-escalation Data entry and basic progress monitoring Communication with students, teachers, and families Team collaboration Time management and organization Cultural competence and equity-focused practice Basic computer skills (email, documents, spreadsheets)
