What Were Looking For:

Valid Illinois State licensure for school counseling Experience working with special education populations, including familiarity with IEP and 504 processes Proficiency with EasyIEP software or similar IEP management systems Understanding of district or state-specific requirements such as PEL (Professional Educator License) Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Your Role:

Provide counseling services to a caseload of 21 IEP students and one 504 student each week Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement educational strategies and supports Complete, document, and monitor all processes required for IEP and 504 compliance Participate in student meetings, progress assessments, and intervention planning Work onsite each Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday for a total of 19.5 hours weekly
