Position:
Early Elementary (Grades K-2)
School Counselor or Social Worker Beginning:
2026-27
School Year Essential Duties:
  • Student support and case management
  • Liaison between families and school for collaborating processes in the educational setting
  • Analyze appropriate assessment results with staff and students
  • Connecting, communicating and monitoring students/ families with appropriate outside support agencies
  • Providing/connecting parents with parenting and educational services
  • Providing/connecting students with appropriate support services
  • Facilitating student intervention meetings/process in conjunction with building administrator
  • Provide crisis intervention services as needed
  • Maintains required records
  • Completes student risk assessments
  • Other duties as appropriate or as assigned
  • Assist with scheduling in PowerSchool as needed
Education and Experience:
  • Must have the appropriate endorsements.
