7 hours per day (7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Position Summary:
The High School Interventionist provides targeted academic support to students who need additional assistance to meet graduation requirements. This position focuses on helping students strengthen skills, complete coursework, and build confidence to achieve academic success.
Responsibilities:
Work with students individually and in small groups to provide academic support in core subject areas. Assist students with assignments, assessments, and organizational strategies. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to identify student needs and track progress. Encourage and motivate students to stay on track toward graduation. Foster a supportive, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree preferred. Experience working with high school students in an academic setting preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and build positive relationships with students. Dedication to supporting student achievement and success.
