This contract-based counselor role is situated near Eden Prairie, MN, and involves serving a diverse student population across two school buildings. One location features a vibrant Spanish immersion program, making Spanish-speaking or bilingual candidates especially valuable for supporting the needs of all learners. The assignment starts August 31, 2026, and extends through February 2, 2027, with a full-time schedule during the academic year. In this role, youll build strong relationships, contribute to positive school culture, and help empower students as they navigate their formative years.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in school counseling or a closely related area Active School Social Worker license in Minnesota (PELSB) Experience with elementary-aged children is preferred Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and families Spanish-speaking or bilingual fluency is a significant bonus

Responsibilities:

Guide and counsel students to support social, emotional, and academic development Provide direct counseling services individually and in small groups Address crisis intervention and connect families to community resources as needed Develop and implement programs that benefit all students across both assigned buildings Collaborate with teaching staff to foster a positive and inclusive school climate
