Qualifications:
Masters degree in school counseling or a closely related field Current and active School Social Worker license in Minnesota (PELSB) Experience with elementary-aged children preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to travel between two school buildings as part of a split assignment Spanish language skills a significant plus
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive counseling services to all students within both assigned elementary schools Address academic, social, and emotional challenges in creative and proactive ways Facilitate group and one-on-one counseling sessions Work collaboratively with staff and families to support student success Foster a safe, encouraging space for learning and growth Contribute to schoolwide initiatives enhancing inclusion and community
