Part-Time Job Summary EDU-AIDs is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified School Counsellor to join our team on a part-time basis . The ideal candidate will support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral well-being while helping create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. The School Counsellor will work collaboratively with students, families, educators, and school staff to promote student success and personal growth. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and small-group counseling services to students addressing academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns. Conduct assessments and identify students who may benefit from counseling interventions and support services. Develop and implement strategies to promote social-emotional learning, conflict resolution, and positive coping skills. Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, parents, and child study teams to support student achievement and well-being. Assist with crisis intervention and provide appropriate referrals to community resources when necessary. Participate in IEP, 504, and multidisciplinary team meetings as required. Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely student records in compliance with school policies and regulations. Monitor student progress and recommend appropriate interventions and support plans. Participate in professional development and training activities as required. Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment for all students. Qualifications Valid certification or licensure as a School Counsellor in the applicable state. Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred. Knowledge of child and adolescent development, counseling techniques, and crisis intervention strategies. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to establish positive relationships with students, families, and school personnel.
