Qualifications:

Masters degree in school counseling or a closely related field Current School Social Worker license in Minnesota (PELSB) Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred Flexibility and adaptability to manage a split role between two school environments Spanish or bilingual language skills are a significant asset

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive counseling services to students, promoting their academic, social, and emotional success Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions and support strategies Assist with classroom guidance lessons, small groups, and individual counseling as needed Cultivate an inclusive environment, especially within the Spanish immersion school, to support students of diverse backgrounds Maintain accurate and confidential student records, adhering to all ethical and legal guidelines
