In this full-time position, you will serve as a school counselor working across two elementary buildings, providing vital support to diverse student populationsincluding one Spanish immersion school. Your efforts will help foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for young learners as you collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in school counseling or a closely related field Active Minnesota School Social Worker license (PELSB certification required) Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred Spanish-speaking or bilingual skills are a strong asset Ability to travel and work across multiple school buildings

Responsibilities:

Provide social, emotional, and academic counseling services to all elementary students in your assigned schools Collaborate with staff and families to design and implement individualized interventions and group activities Support students healthy development through proactive programming and responsive services Maintain clear, confidential records and report regularly on student progress Contribute to a positive, nurturing school culture by participating in staff meetings and school-wide initiatives Travel between the two assigned elementary buildings as needed to meet student needs This role starts August 31, 2026 and concludes February 2, 2027, offering consistent hours throughout the school week in a dynamic, engaging setting.
