9657309-27541 Job Description Make a meaningful impact by supporting students well-being and academic success as a school counselor on a full-time contract. This role, based near Hurdle Mills, NC, invites experienced counselors to work a steady schedule from 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Youll collaborate with educational professionals to provide guidance and support across a diverse student bodya caseload of approximately 500 including both Special Education (SPED) and General Education students. Rest assured, while the number is substantial, some students may require just brief, targeted sessions over the course of the year, helping to keep the load manageable.

Desired qualifications:

School counseling experience, ideally with both SPED and Gen Ed populations North Carolina credential or license in school counseling (or eligibility to obtain) Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and families Strong organizational skills to manage a varied caseload Ability to develop and lead group and individual counseling sessions Compassion and adaptability in fast-paced school environments Key responsibilities: Deliver individual and group counseling services, supporting students personal, academic, and social development Consult with teachers, staff, and families to implement intervention strategies Identify students in need of additional support and connect them with resources Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Foster a positive and supportive school environment Enjoy a workplace with robust benefits, including highly competitive compensation starting at $35 per hour, consistent weekly pay, and a full suite of insurance package optionsmedical, dental, vision, life, and more.
