Job Description

Category Schools - Counselor Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by providing counseling support to students in a dynamic school setting near Charlestown, NH. This contract role is ideal for an experienced and compassionate Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about supporting students' emotional and social growth throughout the school year.
What We're Looking For:
Active New Hampshire Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) credential required Proven experience working with students diagnosed with selective mutism Demonstrated ability to manage a small but focused caseload Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills Background working collaboratively within multidisciplinary school teams
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver direct counseling sessions to a caseload of three students, supporting their social and emotional needs Maintain and update mandated documentation, including progress notes and service records Participate in required meetings and collaborate with other school professionals to develop and adjust student support plans Provide consultation and recommendations to faculty regarding best practices for supporting students with selective mutism Dedicate one full 8-hour day per week (or roughly 6 hours of direct services, with additional time for documentation and meetings) Why This Contract Might Be Perfect for
