Salary:
$20 per hour for qualified applicants
Hours:
5.75 hours per day; limited to 173 days; report times will be determined by the Building Principal Reports to: Building Principal
Summary of Position:
The Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Aide is responsible for assisting with the implementation of school wide universal PBIS supports in order to strengthen social skills, improve social emotional competence, apply behavioral expectations, monitor and improve school attendance rates to elevate academic achievement. Qualifications Appropriate and Valid Ohio Teaching License Experience working with students struggling academically preferred Exceptional communication skills required The successful applicant must have the following on file before they can begin work: Appropriate and valid Ohio Teaching License Current favorable State and Federal background checks Ohio Auditor of State Fraud Training and Reporting Negative drug screen Employees must follow all board policies, all state, and federal laws, and adhere to the Ohio Code of Ethics set up by the Ohio Department of Education. Subject to all applicable laws, essential job functions of this position include the employee being punctual and capable of completing all of the duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. The successful candidate must complete all compliance courses as assigned by the administration.
