0 Leander, TX Job Details Part-time From $15 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications English Math Working with students Performing background checks Full Job Description Best brains Learning center of Leander is currently looking for an After-school Counselor to organize and manage activities for the children in our afterschool program. The ideal candidate will be a role model, energetic,fun loving, good communicator and a positive force with kids (elementary aged students).

HOURS:

MON

FRI 2:30pm
6:30pm Must be able to pass criminal background check.

1. Maintains a professional attitude. 2. Picking up kids from Akin and Parkside elementary schools in Best Brains Vans. 3. Able to teach Math and English from Best Brains curriculum for elementary kids. 4. Supervises all activities to ensure safety at all times. 5. Participates in dismissal procedures at the end of after care, ensuring that each child leaves with the appropriate adult 6. Greets parents and children with salutations and smiles.

Example of a typical day:

Checking in and Checking out students.
Snack
1 Hour Math and English class.
Organizing and guiding group activities and games providing a safe and structured atmosphere.
