This is a full-time, onsite contract position for the entire 2026-2027 school year, providing dedicated support to a diverse K-12 student population. Your expertise as a school counselor will be pivotal in fostering a positive learning environment and advocating for students well-being. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic educational settings and are passionate about helping young people succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Valid and current counselor certification or licensure required Experience providing counseling in a K-12 or school-based environment strongly preferred Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong understanding of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support strategies
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to students across all grade levels Assess students needs and develop tailored intervention plans Address crisis situations and provide immediate support as needed Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families Participate in school-wide initiatives that promote student growth and positive school culture Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations This opportunity allows you to play a vital role in shaping young lives while professionally growing in a supportive school community.
