✨Rite of Passage Team is Hiring an ORR Youth Care Worker (English/Spanish) at Rite of Passage, Sycamore Academy. Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! ✨ What you will do: Coach Counselors provide for the physical, personal, and health needs of each student through individual counseling and behavioral, social, physical, and educational skill development. They provide a supportive environment, monitor and document student behaviors and activities, and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities. Coach Counselors collaborate with professional staff to support each student's treatment plan and perform standard paraprofessional duties related to program operations. They typically report to a Group Leader or higher authority, with operational supervision provided by a Senior Coach Counselor. Our campus includes:
Onsite housing provided. Free daily meals. Transportation assistance. A collaborative and supportive team environment. The opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of at-risk youth while enjoying the natural beauty. Schedule A Shift - Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday. B Shift - Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday. Work schedule is based on program needs. Must be able to pass bilingual (English/Spanish) assessment. Minimum 1 year employment experience in the child welfare field working with children and/or adolescents. Must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver. Must possess a current State Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test. Experience Required 1 year(s): Child welfare field working with children and/or adolescents. Education Required High School or better
