Advanced MSW/MA Practicum or Internship (Paid) - Young Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Location:
Louisville, CO (In Person) OCD & Anxiety Colorado is seeking an advanced-year MSW or MA-level practicum student interested in specializing in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Anxiety-Related Disorders through hands-on training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) . This placement provides the opportunity to train in our Young Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) while receiving structured supervision, consultation, and specialized ERP training within a collaborative, neurodivergent-affirming team. What You'll Do Co-facilitate ERP-based Young Adult IOP groups Coach exposures and response prevention Assist with treatment planning and exposure hierarchies Administer and monitor outcome measures Collaborate with clients, families, and the treatment team Complete clinical documentation Participate in supervision, consultation, and clinical training Optional Build an outpatient caseload Provide ERP-informed individual therapy Conduct community and in vivo exposures Facilitate family therapy sessions Weekly ScheduleMonday 2:00-3:00

Young Adult IOP What You'll Learn Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Higher level of care treatment through a Young Adult IOP Group facilitation Measurement-based care Exposure hierarchy development Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Interdisciplinary collaboration Evidence-based treatment for OCD and anxiety disorders Qualifications Advanced-year MSW or MA counseling student In good academic standing Clinical concentration preferred Passion for OCD and anxiety treatment Interest in learning ERP Strong communication skills Professional, collaborative, and open to feedback Ability to pass a background check Practicum Structure The base practicum consists of 15 structured hours per week , including: 9 hours of Young Adult IOP programming 3 hours of IOP planning with clinicians 3 hours of team consultation, supervision, and clinical training Students also have the option to build an outpatient caseload for additional clinical experience. Completed outpatient clinical hours are paid through an additional stipend per clinical hour . Why OCD & Anxiety Colorado?
