Key Responsibilities:
Prepare workstations and activities so participants are ready to work. Demonstrate work tasks and provide hands-on assistance as needed. Work alongside participants to provide prompting, coaching, redirection, and task support based on OT recommendations. Support participants across the workshop, community work placements, enclaves, and other supported work settings, including transporting participants to and from community sites and providing hands-on support throughout their work activities. Provide behavioral support and de-escalation to help participants remain safe and engaged.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License and insurance, with ability to meet Company requirements for transporting participants. High school graduate or GED Experience in customer service, human services, healthcare preferred Demonstrated service-minded approach, with a commitment to providing respectful, compassionate, and person-centered support. Ability to receive, understand, and appropriately follow direction from supervisors, clinical staff, and other organizational leaders while carrying out the responsibilities of the position. Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting, extensive or considerable periods of standing and walking; position, push, pull, and/or transfer participants and equipment Ability to work outdoors for brief periods in varying weather conditions while supervising participants during scheduled breaks. Ability to maintain professionalism and provide calm, respectful, and supportive assistance to individuals who may experience anxiety, anger, emotional distress, or behavioral challenges.
