Part-time Pay:
$23.50 - $28.50 per hour
Schedule:
16-20 hours per week About the RESTART Program RESTART (Re-Entry Employment in Skilled Trades, Advanced Manufacturing, Registered Apprenticeship, and Training) program supports justice-involved young adults ages 18-24 as they pursue education, occupational training, employment, and greater independence. Position Summary Delta Foundation is seeking a dependable and encouraging Career Coach to help RESTART participants explore career options, prepare for employment, and make progress toward their goals. The Career Coach will provide individualized guidance and mentorship throughout the program, helping participants build practical skills and connect their interests with education, training, and employment opportunities. Responsibilities Help participants explore career pathways, including skilled trades, advanced manufacturing, and registered apprenticeship opportunities. Work with participants to set career goals and develop action steps to achieve them. Support participants with résumés, job applications, interview preparation, and job-search skills. Provide instruction and coaching in workplace readiness, communication, professionalism, and other employment skills. Encourage participants and provide ongoing mentorship as they work toward their goals. Coordinate with the RESTART case manager, job developer, and program staff to support each participant. Document participant goals, activities, progress, and follow-up in a timely manner. Help participants prepare for employment, training, placement, and continued success after placement. Maintain a respectful, supportive, and professional environment for all participants. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependability and the ability to build positive working relationships with young adults. Comfort using computers and common technology for communication, documentation, and job-search activities. Reliable transportation and availability to work 16-20 hours per week. Experience in career coaching, workforce development, mentoring, education, training, or a related field preferred. Ability to encourage participants while maintaining professional boundaries and expectations.
Pay:
$23.50 - $28.30 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 20.0 per week
