In this vital role, you will empower individuals to achieve their employment goals by providing personalized support, guidance, and resources. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster independence and workforce participation among diverse populations, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, or recovery from addiction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. Duties Assist clients in developing tailored employment plans that align with their skills, interests, and goals Conduct comprehensive interviews to assess clients' strengths, needs, and barriers to employment Provide coaching on job search strategies, resume writing, interview preparation, and workplace etiquette Support clients in navigating employment law and workplace accommodations to ensure legal compliance and a positive work environment Collaborate with employers to identify suitable job opportunities and facilitate successful placements Offer ongoing mentoring and training to enhance clients' skills in areas such as social work, addiction counseling, or teaching as needed Maintain detailed records of client progress, employment outcomes, and service activities Experience Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly preferred Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws relevant to workforce development programs Experience in social work, mentoring, recruiting, or training & development roles is advantageous Demonstrated ability to conduct effective interviews and provide constructive feedback Familiarity with addiction counseling principles and supporting clients through recovery processes is a plus Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and empower diverse populations Previous experience in workforce development or community outreach programs is desirable Join us in transforming lives through meaningful employment opportunities!
