https://apply.interfolio.com/191202 Bard College's low-residency MBA in Sustainability program, based in New York City, has an opening for a part-time, visiting faculty member to lead a non-credit-bearing advisory in Career Development. Bard's MBA program fully integrates sustainability into a business curriculum, with students mastering the business case for sustainability, understanding how to align profit with social and environmental goals. In addition, all courses cultivate the development of business leaders committed to Justice in Organizations and Impacts. This position is for a Faculty Career Advisor. Working with the MBA Director, the Advisor meets one-on-one with each of the students in the program every semester to develop an Individual Career Plan. The Advisor also teaches a monthly workshop on career development strategy, and consults as needed with individual students on career needs. The Advisor serves on the joint student, faculty and alumni Careers Committee. The workload for this position is equivalent to two, 2-credit courses per year. This requires 6-7 hours per week of work during the spring and fall semesters, and 2 hours per week during the summer. The position is largely remote, with occasional in-person meetings. Candidates should live within commuting distance of NYC.
Qualifications:
MBA faculty members are expected to have earned a Ph. D., J.D., M.B.A., M.A., or equivalent degree. Successful candidates will have an established record of excellence in teaching. For more information about Bard's MBA program, visit the MBA website: https://www.bard.edu/mba .

Compensation:
$18,000 for the year This salary range reflects the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for the position at the time of the job posting. Salary decisions are dependent on several factors including but not limited to market and organizational considerations, experience, and qualifications of a selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
