Job Coaches in our Supported Employment program provide support and skills-training to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in an employment setting within the community (Carmel and surrounding areas). This is an ideal role for a motivated, self-starter who is able to work independently, and develop and foster relationships with our community partners. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must in this highly visible position.

Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma/GED, a minimum of one year of experience working with persons with disabilities (which can include personal or professional experience or volunteering), and an acceptable NYS Driver's License are required. Must be Van certifiable and have basic computer knowledge. We provide training for the certification indicated above.

HOURS:

40/Monday through Sunday/must be flexible As a Direct Support Professional of The Arc Mid-Hudson, you will be introduced to your Success Coach who will help train you as you learn and develop skills for your new position.
