Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Job Developer to join our team and drive workforce development initiatives. In this role, you will play a vital part in connecting job seekers with meaningful employment opportunities, developing tailored training programs, and fostering strong relationships with community partners. Your expertise in instructional design, adult education, and talent management will empower individuals to achieve their career goals while supporting organizational growth. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on people's lives through innovative program management and workforce development strategies. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive job placement strategies that align with community needs and employer requirements. Design engaging training programs utilizing adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), and e-learning platforms like LMS (Learning Management System). Collaborate with employers to understand their talent needs and create customized onboarding and orientation sessions. Conduct outreach to potential job candidates through research, HR sourcing techniques, and community engagement efforts. Manage program operations including content development for e-learning courses using tools like Adobe Captivate and Learning technology solutions such as SharePoint or Workday. Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management support to participants to ensure successful employment outcomes. Collect data on program effectiveness, prepare reports, and continuously improve training content based on feedback and research. Requirements Proven experience in developing employee training programs within a human resources or workforce development setting. Strong knowledge of instructional design models such as ADDIE and adult education principles. Expertise in curriculum development, e-learning course instructional content development, and the use of learning technology platforms including LMS and enterprise learning management systems. Familiarity with talent management practices like succession planning, performance management, and employee evaluation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Salesforce, HRIS systems like Workday or HRIS platforms. Excellent communication skills with public speaking ability for presentations and training delivery. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using project management tools; experience with change management is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in research, data collection, and program design processes. Demonstrated ability to build relationships with community partners, employers, and job seekers while maintaining a positive attitude towards diversity and inclusion. Pay:
$52,009.38 - $62,634.95 per year
