Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Caregiver for Infants and Toddlers to join our vibrant childcare team. In this vital role, you will provide nurturing, safe, and engaging care for young children, supporting their early development and ensuring a positive, enriching environment. Duties Provide attentive supervision and personalized care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including play-based learning and sensory experiences Follow established routines for feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene to create a consistent daily structure Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns or updates Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in compliance with health regulations and safety standards Apply child development instruction techniques to support emotional regulation, social skills, and cognitive growth Adhere to mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any signs of neglect or abuse according to legal requirements Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Experience with infant care routines including feeding, diapering, soothing techniques, and developmental milestones Classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and independence Familiarity with child supervision best practices and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) to ensure readiness for emergency situations Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary Join us to be part of a team dedicated to nurturing young minds! Pay:
$11.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
