Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Caregiver to join our team in Fort Mitchell. In this vital role, you will deliver personalized care to seniors with diverse needs, including those living with dementia or cognitive disabilities. Your dedication will help enhance their quality of life through compassionate support, assistance with daily activities, and fostering independence. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting social engagement and mental well-being Monitor residents' vital signs and observe for any health changes or concerns Support medication management and administration as directed by healthcare professionals Operate manual handling equipment safely, including Hoyer lifts and resident transfers Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using electronic medical record (EMR) systems Skills Prior assisted living or long-term care experience, especially in residential or home care settings Strong knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, and memory care techniques Ability to perform safe patient lifting practices and heavy lifting when necessary Experience working with individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities Certification in CPR and First Aid; knowledge of vital signs monitoring is a plus Excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and team members Familiarity with EMR systems and medication administration procedures Join us to make a meaningful difference every day! Pay:
$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
