Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to children and individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will create a safe, nurturing environment while fostering growth, development, and independence. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help ensure each individual's needs are met with kindness and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children across various age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Assist with daily activities such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and dressing for infants and young children Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction Support individuals with disabilities by implementing personalized care plans and encouraging participation in developmental activities Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding daily progress, behavior, and any concerns Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including first aid procedures and adherence to mandated reporting laws when necessary Manage behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies Requirements Prior experience working with children of various ages, including infants and preschoolers Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is encouraged Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members Ability to plan activities tailored to different age groups and developmental stages Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Demonstrated patience, compassion, and a proactive attitude towards caregiving responsibilities Join our team to empower children and individuals with disabilities through dedicated care, engaging activities, and heartfelt support. Pay:
$14.00 - $14.50 per hour
