Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is looking for a Caregiver to work a Monday - Friday Shift 5:30am-11:30am. We are looking for experienced caregivers who have excellent communication skills, previous experience working with seniors and those who truly love providing care. The main function of the caregivers is to provide care for clients in a safe, secure, professional environment which meets their needs. We are looking for someone to assist with personal care, meal preparation and other general companionship services. This role will report directly to the Director of Operations.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 5:30am-11:30am (30 Hours a week) Why Always Best Care? Primary Responsibilities:
Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding Responsible for house maintenance when applicable Answer phone calls for clients when necessary Converses with patients to provide assurance Observes Universal Precautions Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping Provides patient laundry and linen changes Light housekeeping Provides medication reminders Meal preparation and clean up
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required Must be authorized to work in the United States High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation Exceptional interpersonal skills Must have Cell Phone / Tablet
