Hialeah, FL Job Details Part-time From $16 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification English Driver's License Direct support Full Job Description Seeking a reliable, responsible, and energetic Companion / Direct Support Professional to provide community-based support to a female client in the Hialeah area . Position Details Approximately 27 hours per week $16.00 per hour Monday-Friday afternoon availability Weekend availability required Schedule has some flexibility Must speak English fluently Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance The client attends a day program Monday through Friday until approximately 2:00 PM . Services will primarily take place after the day program and on weekends. The companion will assist the client with participating in meaningful and productive community activities. Activities may include going to the gym, parks, shopping centers, bowling, arcades, community events, local outings, and other recreational activities . The companion may also provide transportation and support related to job searches, interviews, and employment activities . We are looking for someone who is patient, dependable, outgoing, and comfortable staying active in the community . The ideal candidate will encourage independence while providing appropriate supervision and companionship.

Requirements:

Applicants must speak English fluently, have reliable transportation, and meet all applicable background screening, training, and documentation requirements.
