This role involves supporting patients during their recovery process, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly in post-surgical settings, and be attentive to the specific needs of adult patients recovering from procedures. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' recovery journeys through attentive and professional care. Responsibilities Assist post-operative patients with daily activities such as mobility, hygiene, and medication management. Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition, reporting any concerns or complications to medical professionals promptly. Provide emotional support and reassurance to help patients feel comfortable during their recovery period. Follow all prescribed care plans and postoperative instructions provided by healthcare providers. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including proper sanitation and organization of recovery areas. Administer prescribed medications or treatments as directed, ensuring proper documentation of care provided. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care procedures and recovery progress. Ensure patient safety at all times by adhering to safety protocols and best practices in caregiving. Qualifications Prior experience in caregiving or post-surgical patient support is preferred. Knowledge of post-operative care procedures, especially related to plastic surgery recovery, is advantageous. Compassionate with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide emotional support. Strong observation skills to monitor patient condition and identify potential issues early. Ability to follow detailed care instructions accurately and reliably. Good communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Certification in caregiving or relevant health-related training is a plus but not mandatory.
