We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Caregiver to join our team, working from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support residents in a vibrant, community-focused environment. You will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs, including seniors and those requiring memory or dementia care. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide compassionate care tailored to residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive disabilities Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support medication administration following proper protocols and resident rights guidelines Engage residents in social activities and therapeutic programs to promote mental stimulation and well-being Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling to prevent injury for both residents and staff Maintain a clean, safe environment by assisting with light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control standards are met Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, memory care, Alzheimer's support, and geriatrics is desirable Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training encouraged Ability to operate a standard passenger car safely for community outings or appointments Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is advantageous Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with resident transfers safely Join us in creating a warm, supportive environment where every resident feels valued and cared for.
